First Holy Communion Class

A first Holy Communion class is offered during the Lenten season for those students in second grade and above who are ready to receive Holy Communion. Parents should consider whether their child is mature enough to receive the Sacrament. The class involves the parent and the child meeting both together and separately. The class is taught by the pastors. The children usually receive their first communion at the Maundy Thursday evening service.

Specific dates and times will be posted in the T.V. Guide newsletter and the worship bulletins during the month of February. Please direct any questions or concerns to the Pastors at 749-1606.

New students entering the Confirmation Program this fall who have not received First Communion should contact the church office to arrange for communion instruction.
