Sunday School

Welcome to Tanque Verde Lutheran Church's Sunday School! We have an exciting curriculum called "SPARK" that comes from Augsburg Publishing. Children are learning the words of God from the New Revised Standard Edition Bibles. There is lots of excitement in the classrooms and incredible energy at Chapel! They are learning new songs to share at Family Services once a month. We have classes for children ages 2 - 5th grade, starting at 9:20 each Sunday Morning. Many dedicated adults and youth come together each Sunday Morning to share their love of God and his stories with our students. It is a blessing that so many are sharing their increble gifts with our children. We have 75 children enrolled! What a beautiful blessing!!

OUR VISION:
That children love coming to Sunday School to learn about God and His words in the Bible.
This time is exciting for them and they want their friends to join them.
They have fun seeing their friends and teachers each week.
They feel loved and safe by the people of Tanque Verde Lutheran church.
They are excited to help at church and in the community.
They experience God's grace and joy.

If you are interested in joining a fun team dedicated to teaching children about God, we always have room for you! Volunteers are a necessary part of the success of Sunday School and it's fun too! The children are wonderful and so eager to learn. Please call the church office at 749-1606 and leave a message with "Children's Ministry" with your questions or information. God is so good!
