WE ARE ACCESSIBLE!

For Audiences with Special Concerns

Visitors and congregational members alike sometimes have special needs to make their worship experience more meaningful. When visiting us, please contact an usher or a staff member for answers to questions or for assistance; we will be happy to help.

Logistics and Accessibility

At TVLC, all primary public areas including parking, entrances, the sanctuary, restrooms, and offices are accessible. There are lots of places in the sanctuary where groups containing a wheelchair may sit together. Ushers can show you to these places and provide additional assistance if needed.

Assistance with Hearing

TVLC has both an inductive loop hearing system and an FM transmitter-based hearing system for the sanctuary. The inductive loop is compatible with hearing aids that have a t-switch. TVLC has receivers with headphones that can be used with either system. Individuals can also purchases receivers for either system. The FM system is always in use. The inductive loop is in use at most services.

Assistance with Reading

Large-print worship bulletins are available for Sunday services. In addition, TVLC offers copies of a large-print version of "The Word in Season," a daily devotional booklet that is published quarterly.

Web Page Accessibility

All the pages from top menu pulldown options have a link to all the subpages. Therefore if you are using a screen reader (or your browser does not show the pulldown menus), you can still get to all the pages by simply clicking on the top link for the category and then clicking on the desired links in the next web page.
