Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry Task Force is a continuing ministry at TVLC. Our vision is to be an inspired congregation of praying members led by the Holy Spirit. Lives will be transformed through members praying without ceasing for our pastors, administrative staff, lay leaders, volunteers and all people of Tanque Verde Lutheran Church.

The Prayer Ministry's goals are as follows:

• Become a more "praying church".
• Hold an open prayer time at the altar every week.
• Offering verbal or silent prayers during prayer times in worship services
• Spread the word by the T.V. Guide , special handouts and bulletin announcements.

As a committee we oversee the Prayer Chain, Lenten Prayer Vigil, Monthly Prayer Calendar and the Monday 9:00 a.m. Prayer Time at the Altar.
