Sherri is a Worship Leader and Handbell Director. She produces the TVLC Highlights, worship bulletins, video presentations, and operates our sound and video equipment.

Typical day?

Sherri takes her daughter to school and supports the church and church staff until school is over. Dinner is family time.

Sherri loves TVLC and its people.

Why work in a church?

Sherri began working at TVLC as a “song leader” at the Saturday Evening Service over 21 years ago! She became “hooked” on TVLC and describes her work as “joyful!”

About you?

Sherri was born and raised in Altoona, PA. She went to Ithaca College in New York and the University of Arizona. She is married and has a daughter who is 15.

Dogs or cats?

Sherri has 3 cats, but likes dogs, too.

Hidden talent?

Sherri is an excellent parallel parker!

Pet peeves?

Shopping carts in the middle of the store parking lot; lights left on in an unoccupied room; whenever people do not use their turn signals; and a few dozen more!

Happiest doing when not working?

Relaxing at home in sweatpants watching “Dateline” or “48 Hours” with a glass of caffeine-free diet soda and a few hard pretzels.

Favorite church memory?

Sherri’s favorite memories are her wedding in the TVLC Sanctuary nearly 21 years ago and her daughter’s baptism 15 years ago.

A simple smile.

Sherri’s answer is not music, as we might guess. Her answer is “people!”
