"Tour of the Sanctuary"
The sanctuary is entered from the main courtyard. Two double doors provide the entrance into the narthex. |
The narthex is the area between the main sanctuary and the outer doors. Information and devotions can be found on the counter tops. Hearing assistance devices may be found at the counter top as well. |
The baptismal font is placed at the entrance of the sanctuary so that parishoners may remember their baptism as they prepare for worship. |
Here the altar is decorated for the Christmas Eve service. Parishoners kneel at the communion rail to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. |
This is the Pastors view back into the pews. The pews are filled for all three services in the Sanctuary each Sunday, as well as the Saturday service. The fourth Sunday service is in the Family Life Center. |
The choir loft is to the right of the altar. It is used by the Chancel Choir, Reformation Ringers, Children's Choirs. |
The wall above and to the left of the altar contains stained glass windows. As the sun rises, the image of Christ appears in vibrant colors reflected from the stained glass. |
